Who knew that succesion could be so hard! I certainly didn’t! It’s just talking about whole lot of dead people’s money and assets and stuff. Unfortunately this is not the case. I actually need to write an opinion of a family provision application. I mean HELLO!!!! What on EARTH! So anyone here I am trying to figure out exactly what they want us to do…I think I am on the completely wrong trail so I am starting again. Anyway I thought I would share that with you. Also another piece of advice…don’t stay in the house when there are renovations next door. All I heard all day is DRILLING!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I know I am lazy with this whole Blog Thing!

Tea: 2 (for the moment)

So….like I haven’t written in this since June/July something like that and now it is almost September! I’ve decided to have a hibernation period in which I don’t write anything! IOk so what has been happening in my life since July. Well I have a job…apparently! PI Academy for ING starts on Monday and I am nervous, excited scared *(&^* of the workload I am going to have to go through for the next three months! Hopefully come out relatively unscathed and passed all subjects and moved onto a legal-free life. Ha! That’s what they say…

So instead of of boring you tears (that is if anyone is reading this blog) about my OH SO EXCITING life, I think I might just skim past the winter months and fasttrack into the present.

1. I am studying Succssion (Deceased Estates) and Conflict of Law at university. This was not the wisest of decision but hopefully in time, some heavenly being will enlighten me on what possess me to chose such hard subjects for my finals. Like stupid!

2. I finished my temporary contract at ING…lol that was fun! My new boss thought I was leaving a week later and was very surpraised when I suddenly turned around and said…ok see you guys in two weeks! I got a marble mud-cake…not that anyone was going to buy it in the first place as they knew my remerging from hibertivity in 2 weeks was going to come sooner rather then later!

3. Assignments are an abosolute BORE! I hate my assignments. I don’t understand my assignments! I think assignments should be something that bad people do not me…I’m good, I eat my fruit and vegetables and I’m nice WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME!!!!!!!

4. I did a photo shoot at VAIG studio. Was kinda interesting…have led me to the conclusion that modelling in front of the camera is not something I wish to move into in the next few years. When someone ask me what I want to do in the future, it ain’t going to be modelling! It’s a whole lot of posing, standing around and having some photographer ….”You look gorgeous sweetie!” Like WHATEVER! The photos came back…very interesting! I am going to be in a tv commercial for VAIG. I bet thats what they say about everyone!

So thats my life up to date, eat, sleep, study, work, random photo shoot, talking, tv, etc…pretty boring life….which mostly consist of spending time with myself and well! myself! I know I am totally boring!

By the way I went to a YouthGroup concert which was fantastic!

Well I’m going to go…succession assignment is not going to get done with me writing on this.

Hey! Ok, so my moot mark wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be and I even manage to pass LS 480 which is fantastic for me…cos I don’t have to go through that again! At least not for a while! Hummm what has been happening. Australia is playing ITALY tonight!!! WOOHOO!!! GO THE SOCCEROOS!!!

Anyway, now that is out of my system…so an African came on Wednesday night…quite funny! The lone figure dragging this bright blue suitcase trying to find an escalator…a very funny site! Although she was sick so I couldn’t laugh much about it!

The next day it was like monsoon raining and George St looked more like the rocks off Waterfall Way from Armidale to Coffs Harbour. We treked around the city and then ate sushi for lunch!!! It was yum! Then after lunch we went exploring Sydney and had Austrian food that night!

THe next day I had to work and the African wondered around the city. She manage to catch up with a friend whilst I try to clear the excess items in my queue. That night we went out for cocktails and to watch Wild Safari at IMAX. I was a little sick that night but we still talked to about 3AM.

On Saturday we went to the city and then went to Chatswood Shopping Centre. We wrestle to get a car spot and also stalked a couple to get a table at the Food Court. We had Max Brenner Chocolate which was yummy! And then mom and dad surpraised us by taking us to Peking Duck. It was really nice! And no it wasn’t flying!

Anyway, so apparently everyone i getting 2 hours off tomorrow due to the World Cup quite funny!

Ok, so maybe Blogging isn’t my forte

Ok, so I said I would write a blog straight after moot. Fat chance!!! Moot was HORRIBLE!!! If you don’t know what Moot is…count your lucky stars you don’t have to go through one! There were two judges (the coordinator for the unit and a criminal barrister). I was the last speaker and I was so nervous as I didn’t even understand what was happening before I stood up and talk. Lucky afterwards I got a Lindt Chocolate and I was happy!

I went to Coffs Harbour by plane that afternoon. It was fun! Bug, Bug’s Dad and Bug’s Uncle came to pick me up. That night I went out to dinner and drinks with EasternRoyce whom was incredibly funny to hang around! It was a very very random night filled with tons of laughter and wierd people starring at us for no apparent reason!

Ok so since then all I have been doing is working, working and more working. Occasionally I eat and sleep! However my biggest highlight (or biggest stupidity) whichever way you look at it was waking up to watch Australia v Brazil! Never mind the fact that I knew that Australia was going to lose anyway, but the fact that I was bugged the next day when I was trying to stay awake. So if anyone out there have ANZ accounts…sorry if I accidently put that 12 million in your account!

Mom and Dad came home from HK (yes amazingly enough I am Chinese) and brought home loads of gifts. I must say the most random one came from my Aunt Fung in Vienna who manage to convince my 82 years old Grandma to bring over this HUGE Gustav Klimt vase to Hong Kong and then my parents bring it back to Australia. It’s really nice but sure is heavy! Ok so what else…oh mom and dad got me this super cool watch!

Well anyway, this screen is really blurry…cos my contacts have been in way too long (yes I am a blind Chinese girl…deal with it!)

The Beginning of the End

Cups of tea today: 4
Ok Ok! So maybe I am a little more dramatic then I have to be! You would be too if you knew that your very existence (well not really…just the last 5 years of university) has been building you up for this one moment in time! Isn’t that a song title. Anyway, I figure what better way to start blog writing then to start off with a before moot. I shall post after moot as well and let you all know what actually happen between me, the judge and the rest of the poor people standing up there like lambs going to the slaughter. I rather that! Oh shoot me now! At least wound me so that I can claim s 23D of the Crimes Act 1914 (Cth) which states that trials may be delayed due to medical attention…hummm I hope that is correct???

Anyway, so a friend of mine gave me the opportunity to vent online (Thanks Easternroyce). I am not sure if he harbours any hidden agenda of letting me vend publically rather then holding him up to a wall like a robbery and vent that way!

So today, being the 9th of June 2006, I went to work. Earlier then usual mind you. It was raining outside and I honestly could not for the life of me get out of bed. My nice warm bed . So anyway, at half six I got up, had breakfast, brushed my teeth and starred at my work clothes…it had suddenly dawned on me that it was mufti day!!! WOOHOO!!! not that I get excited about going to my mediocre job every day, but more to the point I get to test out this really funky trend of walking around with knee high boots over your jeans…like half the yuppy girls in the Sydney. I never understood it…but it’s quite comfortable…warm even!

So I went to work, and only two people were there when I arrived. When my boss came in at half eight, he questioned on the timing I arrived. I said “8 o’clock…actually…it was like 3 past 8 o’clock’…and so my wierd saga of strange humour mixed with boredom and letter folding continues! At 10 o’clock half my team went to this meeting and I was idling cos the coordinator forgot to give me something to do when my queue isn’t allocated yet. I thought I would take initiative and do my auditing stuff, but that didn’t happen as I forgot what the prerequisites for the auditor was. So I sat around some more, checked up on my mark…I did an exam on Wednesday and forgot to study…well not forgot…just couldn’t be bothered really…and still got 100% so I was happy…must be because it was open book after all!

At lunchtime I went and bought a cheese, avocado and tandoori chicken sandwhich. It was delicious! I sat around with three Irish girls and a German girl and talked about Ireland and everything in general. I explain to them that driving from Armidale to Coffs Harbour to me feel likes driving around the roads in Kerry (Sth Ireland). The Irish girls laugh…sometimes I am worried I am mocking them cos of their accents…but its so super cool! I wish I had an accent…actually I do…I discovered that one out when I lived in Austria. You know you have away far too long when even you can start hearing your own Aussie accent!

After lunch, I went back to my queue and did some more work…I got stuck into my auditing as now my manager had explained to me again what the requirements were…so that is alright…

So now I am at home and it is just past 5pm! I am going to my mooting partner’s house for dinner and wine! And then we are going through our submissions from start to finish! His fiance is a lawyer so she is going to help prep us up…so that is good…its good that tonight we are working together not against each other…not that we would ever work against each other since we are arguing for the same team.

Anyway, best be going.
